      Pros

      Hospice patients and families are usually very easy to work with. Kind and appreciative of everything you do to help them. Can be very rewarding.

      Cons

      Management doesn't value employees or their individual roles in the process of caring for the patient. Huge turnover is a problem in all departments.

      Pros

      Wonderful opportunity to really make a difference for patients and families. Most field staff are very dedicated.

      Cons

      Management team is out of touch with the needs of field staff. Lots of pressure to meet productivity goals. Not a job that could be completed in 40 hours a week. Work spilled into home life almost daily. Health insurance has become unaffordable.
