Pros

Professional easygoing workplace, thorough training provided and supervisors always available to assist with any questions that may arise. You performed only your job, there was no tasks beyond your scope that you participated in.

Cons

No direct hands on patient care. Feeling as if you are not utilizing your full nursing skills by answering and triaging patient calls. Due to the nature of the work being on the phone, you are a bit chained to your desk.

Pros

Great benefits for FT employees. FT employees get 4 weeks PTO when first hired. PRN employees can work whatever shift they want. Management listens to employees concerns

Cons

Typical office politics due to small office environment. If there aren't any continuous care cases, you have to use PTO. Sometimes cases are over an hours drive away. The pay could be a little hire.
