      Very dissappointing, not a positive organization to work for.

      Pros

      Rewarding in knowing you made a difference in another persons life. Some nice staff who really want to give quality care. The company provides a range of support disciplines for patient care. Provided lunch at the IDT meetings.

      Cons

      Management not supportive, they expect nurses to put themselves in harms way all hours and in horrible areas. If you ask for support "they are not going to pay for 2 persons/escort" Focus of the meetings are on increasing numbers/competition of other hospices. Disorganized education/QA process, the documentation system/care plans not user friendly.

      Cons

      Run away from this company, They put the blame on you. Manager does faviortism, not care non-nursing staff. Manager have been forcing CNA, other staff to force leave the job. Manager threat staff to write them up who they dont like. Their favorite staff can make a millions of mistakes, they can get away with everything. Manager target the employees and making thier life like a hell. They force to quit.

      Some of my fellow nurses and aides really did care, and it showed in their work.

      Cons

      All charting is on paper, and is extensive!!! SO MUCH PAPER!!! Even if you work all the way until 5 pm you're going to be taking paperwork home to finish. Upload system is flawed and not patient-privacy friendly. The patients are allowed to completely walk all over you and speak to you horribly, throw things at you, berate and verbally/physically abuse you and you just have to take it with very little support or backup from management or anyone higher up.
