Pros

Nice, earnest, and smart people intent on doing great work for clients and, for the most part, doing right by others. Democratic - everyone at all levels are given a voice.

Cons

Opaque or confusing decision-making processes that drag out. Lack of real definition of what the company wants to do.

Pros

Nice people, nice office, Chicago office seems nice....seems much different than NYC. Twenty word minimum here and I'm struggling a bit....

Cons

Crappy work, frequent EXTREMELY late nights, ie leaving anywhere between 2am-7am. No empathy from the company and upper management about this grinding atmosphere of late nights. Really really corporate environment.... 2 weeks only for vacation plus 5 sick days which they call 3 weeks vacation. Expensive health care, No 401k matching, not competitive salaries. Really not competitive at all in an industry where unlimited vacations, great benefit and great pay are everywhere else. Employees are just bodies in seats who get the work done. There was an effort to fix this sentiment with more outings and events but it always felt very forced and inauthentic. All work is pretty much IBM (mostly print work), and you may or may not get thrown into the IBM lab, which means working at IBM in-house indefinitely, which is not what most people signed up for. And, you have no say over this if they choose to put you there. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Pros

Nice people, pretty good clients. Really strong graphic design capabilities and branding work. Good culture and work life balance, and a very nice office. If you are a branding person this is a good place to be.

Cons

Not very good work if you are a digital person, there is also very little meritocracy. People who brown nose and speak up a lot get promoted even if they don't know anything. Main client is IBM so unless you like working on their stuff go elsewhere.
