Pros

With VTS currently at a growth stage, there are a lot opportunities for you to grow into roles that make more sense for your career aspirations. VTS tends to practice what they preach about collaboration, inclusion, and transparency. You can reach out to the CEO about anything and he'll make to provide you with a helpful response. He's more than willing to give you honest context surrounding the company's history as well as the thinking behind and major decisions of interest. The company values are built from the bottom up, which makes it very easy for us to use them as hiring criteria, on top of our technical bar.

Cons

You're more than likely new to the commercial real estate industry; you'll quickly pick on the jargon as time passes, but we can do better job at on-boarding new hires to PropTech.

Pros

Good career experience (if you’re self-motivated) Some seriously amazing employees, I’ve made friends for life Health insurance coverage is great and employee premiums are low

Cons

Bro/frat culture (most) Executives are incredibly disorganized No leadership framework Decisions are made impulsively, without strategy or planning Seem to to layoffs every six months, everyone seems to be disposable Sales-centric company, efforts from other departments are seldom recognized Honestly could deal without hearing the CEO drop the “f-bomb” excessively during company meetings They can’t seem to keep their talent - seriously horrendous attrition No investment in fixing the existing product issues
