It is a job with a paycheck

You will never have a future with this company unless it is sold. The founder is a narcissistic tyrant. Through my employment at this company, I was belittled, threatened, and harassed. The expectation is that you will make your job your life. You cannot be sick, enjoy vacation time, or get a reasonable raise. If you are employed long enough to get a raise. In the past, they have bribed employees to write good reviews to compete for a visa gift card. Everyone was rewarded with a $100 card for a review, and the best one received a $400 visa card. You cannot trust any of the good reviews for them because of that; I have removed mine as I am no longer employed there. If you choose to work here, know that no matter how good you are or how much experience you have it will never be enough. When things go badly, YOU as an individual will be blamed if not fired.

Poor work environment

Pros

Because all the agents are on the same boat and all being equally mistreated it causes us to bond together and grow closer. You build meaningful friendships there.

Cons

Negative work environment, you can not talk to your coworkers, if you 1 minute late from lunch or a break...expect to hear about it in those weak team meetings. Team meetings are set to bring down team moral and let everyone know your doing good a normal job, but here at vtrips you still not doing enough for us. You only bent over backwards and took our terrible treatment....you know what! Your fired.

Decent starting wage Ability to relocate

1. They don't keep their verbal promises. Get it in writing! Was supposed to be a manager and found out that it was never put into the system. Was supposed to get a raise and never saw it. 2. Raises are pitiful if you even get one. 3. Always short-staffed and the rest of team has to work multiple jobs without any reward. 4. Their actions show that the owners come first, guests come second, and employees come third. (should be the opposite) 5. You only hear from leadership when you're doing something wrong. 6. A huge divide between corporate and field staff. 7. Sexism and agism seen within certain positions.

We appreciate these suggestions on how we can improve as a company. Also, any act of sexism or ageism will not be tolerated, and team members should feel free to speak to the HR Department in confidence.
