Pros

Great Benefits and nice co-workers.

Cons

They are constantly reorganizing in IT and it doesn't make for good job security.

Pros

This company has a lot of potential but it's not using it. It has some benefits that you can't find at big corporations: flexible time off (!!!!!!) no tracking or accruing, just take vacation whenever you want for however long you want. Ski breaks are encouraged, I would regularly open my office 4 hours late on a powder day and stay late-no big deal. We have many of our team meetings on the mountain or at happy hour. A lot of the offices allow dogs. Time off for volunteering.

Cons

Pathetic pay. I mean, pathetic. This is really the only con this company has but it's a HUGE part of the job. The pay is the only reason I left the company which is something that is completely controllable on their end and they're not doing anything about it. The retention is extremely low and turnover is high, all because of pay. Don't get used to your coworkers. Most companies would kill to have this be their only issue because it's the only one that can be easily fixed. Rob Katz, the CEO, recently changed the minimum wage for the company to $10/hour but that only affects about 2% of the employee population. It was a token gesture. Also, it takes way more than $10/hour to live in a mountain town. Katz is just not with it, he's very much disconnected in that way.

Pros

Ski Pass, A 401k plan that just barely ranks in the top 50 percent nationally,

Cons

Anemic pay, (the lowest earning employees will easily spend 50 percent of their pretax earnings on rent and utilities).
