Pros

This is a company where the higher ups & upper management truly care about the employee. I have worked here for several years now and I wouldn't even consider taking a position elsewhere. The job is fun as morale is high. We are constantly getting together as a company, having fun, but also discussing issues. Management consistently requests feedback on where they stand from our point of view. We have a lot of free reign at work to design and implement innovative technologies to help outfit our customers best. I love it. Management great, medical and dental benefits are great, pay is outstanding.

Cons

I wish I would have found this place earlier. I would recommend Valiant Solutions to anyone wanting to advance their career in Information Technology.

Pros

I want to be fully transparent here and say that neither HR or management have asked me to write this (I wouldn't do it otherwise). I've decided to write this because I saw three consecutive, negative reviews last month and I want to share what the positive side could be. Valiant has been great to me. I busted my butt for 8 months building an entire platform. I used my skillsets to automate everything I touched, and now a year and a half later, I am able to focus my days on improving our product, rather than spending time fixing it. I am living the DevOps dream. I was given time and resources, and I cranked out something beautiful while being compensated for it. Not only did I gain a ton of experience, but they listened to my case and let me run with it. I didn't have a team of people telling me what I was doing was in the wrong direction. It was my direction. There are no adult babysitters here. You need a strong work ethic to do great things. Plan, execute, reflect, then repeat. Employees who don't produce don't last long. No free rides on someone else's hard work. I work remote. I can go to the doctor without having to tell anyone. I can take a long lunch if I need a break. This job doesn't define my life, it's just a part of it. Working at Valiant is a two way street - produce good work, get rewarded. Traveling is important to me; Valiant allowed me to travel the world last year and worked with me on my available PTO. They didn't have to - but they knew it was important to me and they did. I pay $1.00 for full health care coverage. I get birthday cards from the CEO. Matt will sometimes send me an Amazon gift card just to say thanks. I'm not a social security number in a payroll program - I've got a name and a birthday, and the CEO hand writes me birthday cards. A CEO of a multimillion dollar company hand writes me birthday cards...I still don't believe it, but yet every year I get one. Getting the phone call from the recruiter saying I got the job was a huge turning point in my life. Since I work remote, I've been able to build a home in a small beach town. I get to live where I want, and still have a great salary and work for a great company. Sure, I guess you could say that for all the remote gigs out there these days, but it's huge for me and something to keep in mind if you are considering applying for a job. To sum things up - good work is rewarded. Employees who are not successful tend to not be self starters, or passionate about the technology. Do great things, get great rewards - that's all there is to it.

Cons

I'd really like to work on a Macbook

Pros

I have worked as a Security Engineer for Valiant Solutions for several years. During my time with at this company I have been challenged and encouraged to grow. Management are always willing to listen to concerns and ideas. This company is concerned with helping its employees be successful and giving us the tools we need to deliver innovative solutions and services while providing the best value to the customer. They are always willing to help you get training and certifications which is a huge plus. One thing that is undeniable is that this company knows and shows that its employees are its most valuable asset. During my time with Valiant I have had the opportunity to work on a large variety of different projects. I feel like I am always being driven to learn new things and to bring greater value to our clients. Valiant is without question, the best company that I have worked for.

Cons

None that I can think of.
