Stay FAR, FAR AWAY ….Absolutely Wouldn’t Recommend

Pros

• Health insurance is decent and Validity pays a good chunk for a family. • Tampa office provides free food at least once a week. • Unlimited vacation and some really know how to utilize that to their full advantage.

Cons

• CEO is very charismatic and presents extremely well – but actions are NOT in line with his promises or what he presents. • Promises are broken – multiple times we were told “no staff reduction” and less than 4 months later 20% of the original organization was laid off – and additional over time. • The company lacks diversity on every level, especially in upper management. No visible path for minorities or women to advance and HR/upper management’s suggested ‘solution’ to this is to remove the photos from the leadership page on the website. • HR non-responsive in regards to time-sensitive issues – insurance being cancelled due to company nonpayment, 401K incorrect contributions etc., job title changes etc. • No interest in knowledge transfer of existing employees from acquired companies – brought in new teams in every department and existing employees were terminated, pushed aside or marginalized. • Customer focus company shifted to a sales focus – high sales, increase average sales size, no regard to the existing customer base or grandfathering in existing customers. Not for Profit program was terminated overnight with no planning, forethought or consideration for the consequences to those organizations. See customer reviews on Salesforce Appexchange –for DemandTools - a near 5-star product for over a decade now only receives 1-star reviews since the acquisition – many comment that no stars is unfortunately not an option. • Moved employees into new roles – even if they didn’t want to or even if that career path was their goal and then in multiple cases, those individuals were let go shortly thereafter. • Sr. Directors inappropriately disclose/discuss personal information regarding their subordinates across business units and to other subordinates. • Many describe the atmosphere and office as ‘toxic’. • Extremely high turnover. • Payroll errors are frequent – incorrect pay, excess pay, skipped pay, deductions are taken that shouldn’t be etc. Unbelievable how many mistakes were made in regards to something as important as payroll. • Multiple positions moved to another office location to facilitate the replacement of the position with someone from the newest manager/director/C-level network – oftentimes replacing a female with a male. • Negative reviews often do not remain on Glassdoor.

Validity Response

Thank you for the detailed comments regarding your experience at the Validity. Unfortunately, a number of the events referenced in your review have either never occurred or are mischaracterized in your statement. For example, the Company’s insurance was not cancelled due to non-payment, and the Company does not have a pattern of “frequent” payroll errors. As in any company, errors in administrative matters may occur on occasion and are addressed immediately once identified, and this is also true at Validity. Furthermore, Validity does offer paths to advancement for ALL employees, and Validity’s turnover is below industry averages for SaaS organizations. As Validity has evolved, changes have been made, sometimes including location of key roles, but never at the expense of doing the right thing for the people impacted by those changes. Validity works hard to retain great employees and support them to the fullest extent possible, and is proud of its ability to support employee growth and development.

Pros

If you like working for a fast paced company you'll like Validity. Outside of salary and commission there are monthly promotions that gives us the opportunity to make a lot more money and a Circle of Excellence as well. The culture is awesome with things like stock options, casual dress, happy hours, very nice office by the International Mall, weekly hot lunch and company events like an upcoming Tampa Bay Lightning Game.

Cons

The team is working out the kinks from acquiring 2 companies earlier this year.
