Pros

You can quit anytime you want

Cons

Where do I start: every single talented individual that has ever walked in the door of this company has walked out inside of one year. A total of 2 Presidents clubs have been awarded in the 2 years of the company of which no joke 90% have left. The fact that 7-10 people would suggest you find another job based on their 31% approval rating tells you more than any “positive” review could. My favorite part of these reviews is out of all the responses from the ceo and hr, not once have they taken accountability for the fact all of these reviews have merit. Each negative review is met w ignorance disagreement or their perspective that clearly isn’t aligned w anyone but the leadership bubble they must be living in. Regardless every director has quit w the exception of 1 guy whose never been a director anywhere in his career but validity so not exactly a beacon of faith. Sales reps are forced into renewal sales due to minimal new business inquiries and the company being in scramble mode to renew customers since they’re bleeding from retention and new sales. All of these happenings are self inflicted. If you read the all the reviews It can summarized to the current state of validity and why 7/10 people wouldn’t refer this company and why customers are not buying or renewing. Validity bought several managed services companies with a solid product that was built on the backs of earned relationships and customer interactions only to eliminate the vast majority of the service delivery model to become more “profitable” and destroying the install base by increasing like for like functionality and charging a 10x multiple just and stripping away the support functions of those managed services . Additional to their business model, it’s clear they have a massive culture problem following the same principle as their customer experience, anything to be more profitable for “ebitda”. How’s it working out so far Validity, 31% former employee rating, mass customer exodus and minimal new business. Seems like all the measures you took to become profitable had an inverse result. Can’t wait for them to disagree with my review as they have on every single other one. We must all be crazy to say this place is a train wreck. Apparently we don’t see all the positives 7/10 people leave negative reviews but somehow we’re all wrong.

Pros

Work / life balance, remote opportunities, nice macs to work on.

Cons

Culture is very "sales-bro" oriented. The motto is "you're sales or you are sales-support". There are no remaining upper-level advocates for engineering. Employees feel disposable or, at its best, forgotten. The modern technologies and interesting problems to solve are being replaced by shiny facades. Salary and benefits are not competitive.

Pros

I do not recommend working here.

Cons

Management comes from the healthcare industry and does not know much about data quality or digital marketing. They make promises in regard to comp just to get you on board that they never plan on keeping. Company wide interruption of health insurance due to lack of payment. A month late on getting W2s to employees. Very unorganized after only 2 acquisitions. Most recent reviews of products on the appexchange are all 1 star.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your experience at Validity. We value every employee’s feedback on their time with the company and use it for future improvement. Our products have an average rating of 4.8 on the Salesforce AppExchange and nearly all reviews are 4 or 5 stars. Also, we understand that the early stages of a start-up can involve obstacles that cause us to pivot in strategy and processes, but the Validity team was able to work through those growing pains. That being said, with tremendous growth can sometime bring change that can be hard on teams and colleagues. Finally, we should note that the company did not fail to make a payment on its health insurance plan, but a payment was received late by the carrier which resulted in some employees receiving a letter regarding a potential interruption of service. That matter was addressed by the company quickly and most employees did not experience any issues with access to benefits. Thanks again for your feedback and we wish you the best in your future career endeavors.
