Pros

Validity has been an amazing company to work for since the beginning. There are always opportunities to learn and grow, as well as options to move positions within the company. The culture here is incredible and makes each day feel so much more enjoyable than other workplaces.

Cons

Things can be a little fast paced, but that adds to the excitement of each day. There are no other cons in my opinion.

Amazing Team and Company

Pros

- Very strong senior leadership team. SVP Marketing is exceptional, and is making great changes across the organization. Great recent leadership hires on the Sales, Customer Growth, Legal, and Operations sides. CEO is very capable, transparent, and passionate about the vision and direction of the company. - Friendly, talented, and helpful marketing team. Lots of collaboration and opportunity to have a voice and bring ideas to the table, both in day-to-day work and in larger scale quarterly planning. The team is big enough where it's a "real deal" marketing org, but not too big that you're just another number. - Strong work-life balance. Recent implementation of a 3/2 in-office + remote policy, giving most roles the flexibility to enjoy a hybrid work environment. - Great career development opportunities, with talented managers and leaders who genuinely care about your success and want to help you advance your skills. - Unique (and exciting) company growth trajectory. Very, very strong company financials, board + PE relations, market opportunity, and investments in growth - especially in marketing, where the budget for running new campaigns and increasing spend in high-performing channels is, honestly, a bit overwhelming. - Best-in-class product portfolio. Amazing products acquired from multiple established companies, with a customer portfolio including the biggest brands in the world. Rather than building new products from the ground up, Validity has acquired, integrated, and improved category-leading solutions to create a truly unique product portfolio that is miles ahead of the competition.

Cons

- "Growing pains" have only recently started to subside. 2020-21 was a challenging period as the company rounded an important curve from the "fast-paced, start-up" environment, to a more mature, process-driven, go-to-market machine. There was lots of turnover in the early years of the company due to the high rate of change and lack of process, and internal politics, drama, and frustration created a somewhat toxic Sales environment. Luckily, things have clearly turned around in the past 12 months, and it is evident that it will only continue improving in the months/years ahead. - Extreme growth, coupled with difficulty hiring + filling new roles quickly, has led to issues with bandwidth and stress in siloes across the organization. In many cases, employees are effectively doing 2-3 different jobs at once, simply because the company can't hire people fast enough. The company is clearly committed to solving this, but it has led to very stressful (unsustainable) periods of high workload and big expectations across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations.
