Pros

They attempt to have a fun and inclusive culture, nice people work there.

Cons

Minorities can clearly feel the difference and promotions for people of color who are deserving are extremely far and few between. Management makes really foolish choices, and the level of red tape to get anything truly resolved is maddening.

I am glad you feel we have a fun and inclusive culture, and I agree we have many nice people here, which is awesome. In terms of the cons you highlight, I am sorry, but I need to respectfully disagree. Valley Forge is very proud of the impact of females & minorities in key roles on our team. Women at VFF make up 65% of our entire professional team, and 60% of the Executive, Directors, Manager, Supervisor and Leadership Team. Minorities and people of color make up almost 50% of this group. We want to do even better and this summer, for example, 100% of our interns were females and women of color. We are working hard to grow a long-term diverse professional team that has a clear path for success enabling our company for the future. While we know we have work to do, we are extremely proud of our efforts here, and even more proud at how awesome our team is, as they all earn their positions here and are unique, professional, and wonderful in so many ways. Pros

They are very serious about training. It builds confidence in the day to day! There is always something being improved upon. It is a very open environment with a family-like culture.

Cons

If you do not adapt to change well, certain positions may not be suited for you. It is very fast paced and can change quickly, which I personally love.

Thank you for such a nice review. So glad you are happy. So often we write when we are unhappy, and so many happy people do not take the time to write, so we really appreciate it! Mikey

Rude owners

Pros

The only good thing about working here was going home on time. It always felt like freedom!

Cons

The owners were rude, condescending, stereotypical, unprofessional, and mean. Over the course of 1 year, they have hired 8 different employees for the associate position, the turnover rate was bad. The owner wanted people to work more than 70 hours a week on a low salary, on a contractors pay structure.

I am not sure if you meant to write this for Valley Forge Fabrics? There are many companies that start with Valley Forge. There are many things that could be said about us, but saying we have hired 8 people for the associate position is not correct at all. Saying we want 70 hours per week is also not factual. We are probably more flexible than most other companies I know. I am sorry, I think there is an error on which Valley Forge this was intended for? Mikey
