Pros

I truly believe in addiction some very dedicated staff

Cons

Resigned after one month could not take the petty atitude of management and the distrust they have for their employees who are afraid to speak up and be labeled a trouble maker. Staff has no access to email, no voicemail cannot receive direct call. Additionally some staff need professional help.

Pros

Some bit of unity of purpose. Does help some addicts as long as they are ready to help themselves.

Cons

Pay is low with a lot expected. Six month probationary period. Very shallow thinking management. Very drama instigating kitchen supervisor at Chandler location. Supervisors will blind-side you with their nonsense instead of discussing concerns with you and then will stab you in the back for short sighted reasons.

Pros

Mission is reputable and most employee's who treat and interact with patients provide great care and concern, some locations more than others. Long history and solid reputation for treating patients in dire financial need at a reasonable cost.

Cons

Executive leadership for the most part are either in recovery from addiction or counselors by trade and see the business predominately through that lens. Poor overall business acumen and experience operating a healthy company. Fickle by nature, jumping from one strategy to the other without regard for execution or impact to the company's culture or bottom line. Much inconsistency in policy and expectations from one location to the next, a management nightmare (16 locations in 7 states). Beware of speaking your mind or asking for someone in Norton (HQ) to justify their plans or motives as your livelihood from that point on will be in jeopardy. Benefits are average (2 month waiting period for health ins.) and no vision coverage, expect to pay up to $13K plus annually in max OoP medical expenses! Expect staff to be moved around often from one role to another with little plans or talk of a career ladder. Finally, the leadership in Norton is notorious for hiring family members and significant others of staff to positions of leadership, many with little to no applicable experience.
