Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate your honesty and understand that maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential—especially in a role as meaningful and demanding as caring for our nation’s Veterans. We’re proud to offer a Monday–Friday schedule with no on-call shifts, 11 Federal holidays, and generous PTO to support our teams. That said, we also recognize that true balance goes beyond time away from work. Your feedback about administrative burden and staff turnover is important, and we are always looking for ways to improve the day-to-day experience for our providers. We’re glad to hear you felt supported by your colleagues in pharmacy, psychiatry, social work, and dietetics. That kind of interdisciplinary teamwork is central to the care we strive to provide. If you’d be open to sharing more ideas or concerns, we invite you to reach out to us at hr@valorhealthcare.com. We appreciate the care you provided during your time with us and wish you the very best in your future endeavors.

Pros

I worked alongside some excellent providers and support staff.

Cons

The weakest local and corporate leadership I've ever encountered. Punitive action is taken if you try to professionally discuss your concerns (clinical or otherwise) with local leadership staff as well as corporate and in-between. I brought patient care concerns to my direct leadership and utilized the in-house Valor workflow but I was not acknowledged in any meaningful way; all the way to the to the corporate level. I left with severe patient care concerns that I hope they address but I was not able to provide the best care I was capable of to my Veterans. CEO aware and has done nothing. This company awarded me for embodying its values but did not respect me enough to actually consider my subject matter expertise when it was being used in the spirit of those same values! I know these are strong words but unfortunately, this is my experience. I'm sure it can't be that bad for most providers.
