The worklife balance at Vanguard is phenomenal. It is very easy to get time off, take time truly away from work, and plan your weekends.

Cons

Management is slow to adjust to market changes, and does not offer any in job incentives to add to your base pay. There's not a lot of internal recognition if you have stellar or above average performance. Vanguard does not care about recent inflation as it is not factored in to any promotional or annual wage increases.
