Great place to start

Pros

Great training and great people to work with to start. Easy job, low expectations, friendly management, great benefits. Again, great place to work for a year or two.

Cons

Looking for brainless employees who can follow a script and churn out the calls. employees - even when asked by management for constructive feedback should ALWAYS be positive and NEVER provide constructive feedback. If you like to just wade through life, and you are not looking to "get ahead" this is the place for you. If you are ambitious, hungry, and want to grow your life and career, go elsewhere.

Pros

The job is pretty secure. The vacation time is somewhat OK. Good place to start if your building your resume. Once you do...leave. Contrary to what they tell you, they are not the only company out there.

Cons

The salary is extremely low considering how much money you make for the company. The benefits are so-so. The annual raises don't even cover inflation. And if your looking for growth in the company, it's not likely to happen. You have to play the game. Be a real "Yes" Man/Woman. Only the extreme corporate types get promoted to upper management. Like I said, good place to start but eventually you need to move on.

Pros

Competitive benefits package and great flexibility with crewmembers, great place to network and learn the ropes of networking, teaches you how to get things done in a large company

Cons

Continually reinvents improvement process, no transparency of P/L for managers, Vanguard experience will vary greatly depending on when hired and who your manager and manager's managers have been during your career
