Toxic, Just Toxic

Pros

- Okay healthcare - Free food in the kitchen

Cons

- First off, a lot of the five star reviews on here are fake, I know this because HR makes a habit of telling/asking people to submit good reviews. I've also heard they've been threatening people on this site that leave negative reviews with legal action. - Expect to be micromanaged and have your every action questioned by management, even if you have years of sales experience - real nasty "frat boy" sales culture with rampant misogynism and homophobia going unchecked, people look the other way because this comes from the high performers - The way the territory is distributed means that it's basically luck of the draw whether you're going to be placed in a good territory with competent reps in the field. This coupled with unrealistic quotas means that the majority of reps don't hit their target.

Pros

The pay was competitive at the time I was employed.

Cons

These reviews must be biased, ask ex employees how they feel. It's an insanely toxic micro managed culture. My director was surely clinically psychotic, everyone on the team left shortly after he was promoted. Avoid like the plague if you value your mental health.

Workaholic culture

Pros

For the most part, the people are good to work with. They're also willing to help and answer your questions when you have them. People are friendly and kind. The product is also good and I'm sure the company will be successful due to the continued demand for data security and privacy.

Cons

The most disorganized, workaholic culture. You can't say you support a good work life balance, and then also praise employees for working late all the time, or working with COVID--that's not actually valuing work life balance. Product doesn't communicate well with the rest of the organization, and this is true with many of the rest of the departments. There are no established processes for who is responsible for what, and people are always stepping on each other's toes, or worse, everybody is always pushing a task off to someone else. I've never worked in an organization with so little accountability. I've also found that when processes fail or things don't get done on time, people are quick to throw other teams/departments under the bus. Also, the amount of PTO given to employees is abysmal, just in general but especially compared to the rest of the tech industry. It's about 13 days a year for sick leave and vacation combined. No separate sick time bank. Considering I get sick at least 5-10 days a year, that's most of my PTO gone just from being sick. And no, working from home doesn't mean I can always work while sick. If I have the flu or COVID I'm going to be in bed.
