Everyone needs a job, but not everyone can work security

Pros

As the site supervisor, I was able to make the schedule. I had a nice clean place to work, but not all the sites are like that.

Cons

There are no benefits. No vacation time. No sick days...you get the picture. Management would send anyone to the site. Often they would sleep on the job or come in smelling like alcohol or like they haven't showered in days and in a corporate office that is not acceptable.

Health benefits, 401k, as much overtime as you want to work

Cons

Mandatory on call, 12 hour shifts, constantly called on days off to pick up time - often more than once, poor pay when compared to the stress/expectations of the job - you're not treated like an employee or part of a team, you're just a body filling a seat. Employees are over worked, underpaid and under appreciated.
