Pros

Company is great and so are the employees. The CEO genuinely cares about growing the company and keeping the culture. Unlimited PTO, can use 2% of your salary for book or classes to develop skills. Fitness reimbursement and stock. They like to promote within so there is plenty of opportunity to grow and learn.

Cons

If you don't like to work from home or travel this position might not be for you. Or if you're not self motivated.

Pros

Veeva's emphasis on people made it such a great place to work. Whether it's advocating for employees or customers, the people-centric culture is consistent throughout the entire organization. I felt fortunate to work for such a fantastic company that had outstanding benefits as well. I would have never left if compensation had been fair to market value.

Cons

Management is disconnected from what is happening and does not have the desire to stay in step with the expected. Pay is below what is expected in many roles.

Pros

They control the CRM market and will control the entire Regulated Document Management Market for Life Sciences...will continue for a LONG time. They simply got there first and staked the claim and the way they did it coupled with the global nature of their clients means nobody is moving away from them. Veeva stock is a great investment. No Pros as an employee

Cons

The same thing that makes the stock great makes being an employee at Veeva a nightmare. Imagine working at a company that so dominates the market that it has no need or value for employees. Manager doesn't like you - gone. They can say anything because who cares? Can't travel 50 weeks a year - gone. They find someone out of college who will do your job for nothing (poorly) - gone....what difference does it make? It would cost their clients hundreds of millions to move away Veeva and turn over is so high and rapid that the people who remain are pretty much dug in.
