Velir is a place that brings people together through the lens of solving complex digital challenges for our clients. It's the people that make Velir thrive. Like any agency, we have seen turnover both in core contributors as well as leadership that have made some years challenging. However, there still remains a consistent group from both groups that are dedicated to making Velir successful. Having spent 5+ years there myself, I'd like to consider myself one of those people dedicated to making Velir a great place to work.
The passion for doing amazing work within our teams is what makes Velir such an exciting place to work. Together we are able to break down large complex digital problems and find innovative solutions. For many of our clients, we are doing things that no one else is doing, breaking barriers and paving the way with AI, digital interactions, education, and human centered design. Our client base is diverse, and more often than not, mission driven.
The culture at Velir is another aspect to be proud of. It is inclusive, fun, and rewarding with many perks and benefits. Managers are understanding and flexible. The location , right in Davis Square, is hands down one of the most fun neighborhoods to finish your work day and walk around, or to take a stroll through during lunch.

Cons
Transparency was a small issue a few years ago, but I feel that has been remedied with monthly all staff meetings, a Client Services reboot, and solid communication from People Operations.
