There is a lot of turnover somehow. I would never want to leave, but a lot of the turnover I see is voluntary, which I don't entirely understand. Maybe there's something I'm missing.
There are some big gaps in technical infrastructure and investment. And I'm not sure the technical leadership has its finger on the pulse of the product.
There have been complaints about overall communication at Velocify. Although, if you're a really great communicator yourself, it helps you grow and bridge gaps, and the company rewards you for it. But, oftentimes you don't find out about things until the last minute.
Velocify changes its mind a lot, which senior leadership thinks is nimble; the rest of us think it's inefficient and irritating, because it causes rework and delays. But, it's probably just small company blues. There are definite payoffs: flexibility works both ways, or it should. And it's definitely not boring.
