QC team is behind on work and expects you to correct a minor (nitpicky) issue on a unit completed weeks ago while in another city or state. - They don't take in consideration of the amount of time spent away from home and family. - Pay should be better for the work being done and the sacrifices being made. - Level of communication within the company needs to improve. - Only possibility of advancement is if you're living in KC.
This is truly the most toxic, dysfunctional place I've ever worked at. There is no chance for advancement, unless you're a straight, white man who is related to or friends with one of the executives. Nobody is ever held accountable, so half the people there don't even do their job. Therefore, the people who actually do care are stuck with extra workloads. I've also never worked at a company where it was okay to drink and pop pills on the clock. If you just want a job, then I would recommend this place but if you're actually focused on your career then stay very far away.
