Pros

Great coworkers if you're in the right department.

Cons

The there is little-to-no direction from management and absolutely no ownership. What little direction there is changes frequently and radically. Toxic personalities are allowed to thrive with no action taken from management. Work is often passed to a few people while others do nothing but try to appear busy. Pay and benefits are not great. If you don't get access to your benefits when first available, they will likely never be set up for you.

Pros

Good hours, friendly people, casual atmosphere and dress

Cons

PTO and benefits package is pretty bad, although they just increased their 401K match and improved the vesting schedule. 90-day wait for benefits, PTO includes sick time AND vacation with no separation, only six holidays included in time-off. On a positive note, doctors appointments don't count against your PTO. Management is a major hurdle here. Lack of management, rather. There is no training to speak of and no clear guidelines or expectations, at least in my department. Work is feast or famine which is not their fault, but there is no direction in the down times. Well, there's no direction at any time. But we are expected to stay every day until 5:00 regardless of our workload. Don't care what we're doing as long as we are physically in the building. There is talent that is being wasted but also they will give one person several projects at once. It makes no sense. My manager does not know how to dole out assignments or delegate, he also has way too much on his plate. The company as a whole has a very odd management structure. There are many, many incompetent people here who keep their jobs, but shouldn't. Nepotism runs rampant.
