Pros

Reasonable compensation and nice facility. There are a few good people.

Cons

Velociti has been around for a while with a core group of people. If you aren't "one of them" you are an outsider. (From the top down. Nepotism and "good old boy" gang.) Teamwork, support and encouragement from these coworkers is nonexistent. Getting "thrown under the bus" by them is another story. Training, explanation of duties, familiarization with tools, processes and procedures is severely lacking. Do not agree with management directives where time/deadlines are prioritized for speed with a "we can fix it later" mentality sacrificing quality and leaving way too much to clean up later.

Pros

The facilities are great - company sometimes offers breakfast, lunches to show appreciation.

Cons

Increased workload with no pay off, menial raises unless requested throughout the year, poor benefits, limited room for growth, poor bonuses, lack of training, male-dominated culture that was inviting to many scenarios that were discriminating.

Pros

The gifts they give you when they hire you to make you feel welcome.

Cons

This company will hire and fire on a regular basis. If they have a high demand of projects they will hire the amount of employees they need to complete these projects then make their adjusted layoffs to stay in the green. They do not care about your well being/family life I say this because this company expects you to be working 6 days a week that 6th day you are on call without pay for a majority of the time. If you have a tech in the field and they need something your are expected to be near your computer the whole day to assist the field techs. Velociti's pay is not good enough for what they make you do for this job. I am happy I left this place. I found a job that pays 30k more for half the work that I was being forced to do. *********THIS IS YOUR WARNING******** Do not work for this company. The owners and upper management will get rid of anyone and everyone. My co-worker was at the top of the leader boards and they let him go. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES!
