Pros

This was my first software sales job. The biggest pro I have to say about this company is the training. They don't just throw you on a sales floor and tell you to start dialing. Cold calling is not easy but they train you to a point where you feel comfortable. I also like that you are a "product expert". You handle the entire sales cycle and get to demo the product. It's a great intro into sales.

Cons

I was surprised how much people could get away with. If you were a top performer, upper management would look the other way. A lot of hooking up. It made me feel super uncomfortable. I was done with all the happy hours and the mind blowing stories that would circulate throughout the office the next day. I would have flashbacks of high school. I left because I was done with the drama and was ready for a serious sales career. No regrets because I did learn a lot but this is not a place to stay long term.
