Pros

They do have an option for free health plan, but you have to jump through hoop after hoop to finally find a doctor. -

Cons

So many to write about .... 1. The CEO, Alex Campos, expects you to work 8 days a week and 25 hours a day. He monitors your every move through ActiveTrak. This creates such an uncomfortable culture. What makes it worse - he likes to boast about how Vensure promotes and encourages work-life balance.... which leads me to #2... 2. They offer only 12 days PTO which INCLUDES SICK DAYS! If you get sick with the Flu for 5 days, your screwed out of taking that 10 day vacation you planned with your family. Where's the work-life balance in that? 3. Mandated back to the office - Monday - Friday. No flexibility at all in a WFH, or even hybrid. You go to the office to do zoom meetings all day. I'm beginning to think it's more of a Power Move from Alex

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Vensure is proud of our preference for employees in the office. Experience shows employees prefer to be in person for collaboration, impromptu creative brainstorming, participating directly in employee culture, and honing professional skill sets (or even learning new ones). For PTO, this is accurate for the first year, increasing each year of your employment. We also observe several federal holidays each year. Productivity software allows management to streamline tasks, automate routine processes where applicable, and identify opportunities to facilitate improved teamwork and collaboration. Again, we are grateful for your feedback. If there is anything additional you'd like to share, please contact your department's Employee Experience representative.

Pros

The people who work in the Burbank office are awesome, kind, wonderful unicorns.

Cons

The company treats employees like children and installed ActivTrac on every computer. Lots of gaslighting from the corporate office. Upper management has no idea what they’re doing — they hand out VP titles like Oprah gives away cars — and there is a horrifyingly low level of erudition. They also keep promoting people who aren’t smart at all and know next to nothing about the work they’re supposed to be doing. Getting help was a fool’s errand every time. But hey, they’re like, super busy, right? Work is slowly being transferred to staff in Colombia offices — jobs are not safe. No communication or transparency. Lacks streamlined process for work distribution… Or anything, really. If your boss tells you something and you know it’s wrong because you’re a writer who knows way more about the guild rules than they do, you’re supposed to accept the answer, blindly and unwaveringly. They don’t like when you correct them.

Pros

Some individuals in the company are very intelligent and knowledgeable - but they have no power to make significant changes

Cons

They use activ trak so they can belittle all employees. Company used to have remote/flexible options but now is only hiring in office due to the lack of trust. You would think either a tracking software OR in office would solve the trust issues but no, both are enacted. Only boomers want to work in an office so we hire bad talent or terrible workers. 3% raises each year and no room for negotiation. No one gets trained properly to do their job and the CEO does not care as long as your hours are "productive" and sales are producing (and even they will get in trouble for activ trak). Would not recommend working here if you are aspiring to further your career. You career comes here to die.
