Pros

Really can't think of one!

Cons

People don't leave bad jobs, people leave bad Directors/upper management who don't appreciate one's value. Facts: This so-called "Systems Engineer" position was nothing more than a desktop role. No training whatsoever! The on-the- job training that you do receive is a joke. No IT budget to support users! Zero....nada! Your concerns and opinions are ignored by the Director. Merit raises are ridiculous. Yearly performance reviews are nothing more than broken promises. No formal planning from Director to implement site-to site team projects. No test environment. Sites are considered "guinea pigs" when implementing a business solution. This server role (really a desktop role) is just a break-fix role. No provisions from mgmt to make it a proactive environment. PPE's and Performance Goals....Psft....whatever! A joke. Even the guys on team said so. I can add more but you get my drift.

Pros

The people here are fantastic! Everyone is SO nice. People don’t backstab. The atmosphere is not stressful. And the area around the office is beautiful - yet close to everything.

Cons

There is absolutely no focus on career management here. If you want to grow your skill set, get promoted etc, this is not the place. Senior leadership operates in a vacuum - they seem to only want to interact with each other, which 1) means no exposure for those that are actually doing the work 2) leads to bad decision making.

Pros

The Logistics Coordinator position is paid an average wage, but nowhere near enough for the abusive atmosphere one must endure. Hours are M-F / 8-5, with little to no opportunity for overtime.

Cons

The Logistics team works in a bullpen design (about 20 employees in one large room), so one is constantly subjected to the backstabbing, temper tantrums, constant cursing, and overall miserable attitudes of one's co-workers. No training is provided, so there is a huge learning curve and outrageous expectations from day one. This company is in a MESS, and no one seems interested in finding solutions, only in pointing fingers and passing the buck. Company hires all new employees (in this department) on a Temp-to-Hire basis, but I promise you, you will NOT want to stay.
