Pros

You get a constant start and end time. Some coworkers are a pleasure to be around.

Cons

They are a revolving door because they are constantly understaffed and require everyone else to pick up their loads. There isn't enough time during the day to get all needed admin work done so you end up wither doing it on your off time or you get reprimanded. There are definitely favorites by management. On my team, we were beyond short staffed and only one person was getting breaks. She barely showed up to work on time and was given raises. The rest of us were super behind. I can see why it's a revolving door. Instead of opening up new locations, nurture the employees you currently have before they all leave. Do better.

Introduction to ABA and opportunity to learn from educated BCBAs. Strong BCBAs and openness to learning.

Cons

You as an RBT are the last priority and expendable. The benefits are underwhelming. Multiple promises of promotion without compensation changes. Once promised included changing from hourly to a salary without change in pay but an increase in work expectations. Quotable moments: "you are lucky you don't have to pay for this experience, in other centers, you would owe the company for this supervision" "Make your NET while watching Netflix, that way it won't feel like you're working".

Cons

Pay was not up par with work load expectations. There is no work life balance. Difficult to get guidance from management when help is needed. The company core values have truly changed from when they first started delivering therapy. They seem to only care about making money at the end of the day (not their employees). While there was support from employees at the same level as you, the management/administration was not supportive.

First, we would like to thank you for your commitment to us for over five years and we are sorry to hear you didn’t feel supported and struggled with work/life balance. We have worked very hard to ensure our employees feel fully supported and have put processes and roles in place to assist with this, to include adding an administrative management position which allows our Clinical Supervisors to focus on clinical work. Additionally, we have an open door policy in which all employees have an informal and formal process for concerns and issues. To assist with work/life balance, our full-time employees accrue paid time off from day one with the company, which they can use at their discretion.
