Pros

I learned a lot about ABA therapy and the billing requirements associated with behavioral health.

Cons

There was no work life balance. The company worked me so much that I didn't take any time off towards the end. In consequence, they didn't even pay out my PTO when I finally left, which was very disconcerting.

Pros

- I love my clients - I love my families - I love my staff Everything I love has nothing to do with the company itself. The two stars is purely because I love being a BCBA and working with my clients, families and staff.

Cons

- Everyone from RBT's to BCBA's are overworked and burnt out. Turnover is incredibly high. You're lucky if your RBT's stay past a year. - BCBA's have unreasonable billing expectations that leave no time to do non-billable tasks like program development and admin duties. Then they have the audacity to ask "what are your barriers?" when you don't make your billables when it is their unrealistic expectations that are the reason. Work/life balance is nonexistent. - RBT's are put in 6.5 hours of billables and the company is pushing dyads and triads so they don't have to hire as many staff which leads to BCBA's being constantly put into 1:1 sessions - Admin oversteps BCBA clinical judgements and decisions in order to keep clients longer than they need to be at the center so that they can continue to bill for them. - Communication is just horrendous between admin, scheduling and clinical operations - Center policies will go into place without formal announcements or leadership fully understanding what it means which then leads to chaos and confusion. - The ask for feedback but then when its negative you get chastised for it. It's "tow the company line or sit down and shut up" - Also they don't match 401k which in this day and age is just absolutely ridiculous.
