Pros

Ability to work from home allowing for flexibility, decent PTO after you've been there a number of years, mostly only local travel within your regional territory... these are the reasons that sales people hang on for a long time... nothing else.

Cons

Where do I start... Internal battles, non-sales people making sales decisions, lots of micromanagement, they push you to sell digital products that don't work and use your clients as guinea pigs, constant pressure, constant lay-offs, comp plan changes every year for the worse...

Pros

Decent base pay, overtime is paid full time and a half even with salary. Managers are very flexible with appointments, etc... Knowledgeable friendly coworkers make it easy when tough things come up. Company really cares about having fun and giving back to the community in all sorts of ways.

Cons

Restructure of the company and a merger is leaving the culture in shambles. People are disgruntled and upset and all the new hires are babies out of college that never had a job. They're unprofessional and inexperienced. I can't count the number of times we've had to hear about how important it is that the company meets this outrageous goal for money earned after expenses with no mention of any incentive for the employees that are making that happen... Where's the motive guys? Where are all those millions going? It's insulting. They also decided to merge 3 job roles into the current client program coordinator role, not reducing number of clients supported, and no pay raise. Thanks for all the added stress, again with no benefit. They also merged all of the smaller clients to Houston so there is absolutely no room for growth or hope of doing something more important. You deal 70-100 small clients that you contact 2-12 times a year. If you like client relationships this is not the place for you!

Pros

Benefits seem competitive, pay was competitive

Cons

* Layoffs every year for the duration of my time there * Incompetent coworkers with mistakes that cost the company tens of thousands of dollars still managed to survive * Management favorites promoted time and time again despite lack of job skill or work ethic * Creativity not encouraged * Stuck around for the paycheck as long as possible, but in the end it was soul-numbing
