It’s unfortunate how hard this place tries to get it together but falls short each and every time. Management has gone as far as posting ratings on their own business “On the Up” amd “It feels like home again”. Nice job Kathleen. Absolutely noone other than the over paid non experienced managers are happy. Management pushes you to almost breaking point amd beats employees down... backs off till you recover alittle and start all over again. Excessive daily meetings are held for departments and one on one to discuss “How can we push you more to get 70 hours of work load done in 40 hours” because overtime is not permitted. (Not exaggerating). Honestly the environment is highly depressing. Noone has the engery to pretnd its all good anymore. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemies.

I can only make my comments about the accounting department.; unnecessary weekly meetings that will eventually have you checked out, the selfish top management who throws works at you without even considering feasibility to accomplish the job, and “the” inexperienced first line supervisor who applies different sets of standards when evaluating performance. This person is so generous to himself. It’s nothing when he makes mistakes. But this person will let everyone know to show off how he is good as a reviewer, copying everyone emails, if you make a minor mistake such as typos from Spreadsheets. This person is also notorious for his passive aggressive communication style, which has been mentioned from another review here. I witnessed that people had fights with this person when leaving the company. And this person manages his workloads well. He usually doesn’t leave before this person’s supervisor leaves, trying to show off but watching YouTube while killing time - Anyways, stay away from this company if you are an accountant who wants to grow and concerns about you career. This is a prime example of a career regression opportunity. But if you want to chill, this is the right place. You will have a good work life balance. But you can’t take vacation between October and February of the following year.
