Verisign Tampa a great place to work because of the people!

Pros

Verisign is filled with very talented individuals who are driven and a pleasure to work with. The individuals in the Tampa office are a fun bunch with great attitudes. It is a pleasure to work with them even if some of the projects and politics elsewhere in the organization create negativity in some of the organization.

Cons

As stated above there is a fair amount of politics, especially outside of the Tampa vicinity. These politics have effected the direction of the company and the organization that the Tampa office is a part of in a negative manner. Other than that it's a great place to work!

Pros

They have great Benefits better than most companies and Cash Compensation is pretty good too. You get stock options, bonuses, and raises every year. They realy do take care of their employees.

Cons

Well i would have to say the whole layoffs situation especially because the divested companies are no longer in their vision for success. Also the constant reorgs of upper management. They change the org chart more than I change my underwear. Aslo i would have to say that the constant changing of their vision as to assets of acquired businesses is another down side. One day it was great to buy you the next it is even better to sell you!
