Pros

Working remote, somewhat flexible, no phones

Cons

Far more cons than pros unfortunately. I wanted to like it here. Benefits are not that great. The health insurance is too expensive with a high deductible. The pay here is atrocious and they know this. To make matters even worse, if you are in one position and that dept or contract gets eliminated they will offer you another position and it may even be one that usually has much higher pay but you wont get that pay. They say in 90 days you will be reviewed to see "if" you can be bumped up to what that position normally pays. They know the alternative is to not accept it, and if you do you do not get unemployment. My team are all in this newer position which is very detail oriented and stressful. Training is awful. Like other reviews you were pushed into doing something with very little training and they appear annoyed if you do not understand it. Monthly meetings they are kind and say they are willing to do anything to help but that is not the case. HIGH turnover rate and I think 90% of it is the pay issue. I have been here over a year and stay stressed out. I'm not alone. I feel like moving people into these positions is something they are doing to save having to pay people what the job should actually pay. It is happening a lot.

Pros

Verisma is a great company to work for with a supportive culture and team environment. The management and colleagues provide a strong support system that makes the work experience positive. There are great PTO benefits and it’s an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door in healthcare administration. The only drawback is that the pay rate is on the lower side, but overall it’s a solid place to gain experience and grow your career.

Cons

The only con working here is the low pay.

Pros

Flexible schedule/negotiable schedule, remote work opportunities.

Cons

The on-boarding team is excellent but actual hands on training for your role is very bad. The pay is absolutely terrible.
