Pros
The company is well known for its expertise in managing clinical trials, particularly in oncology and rare diseases. I feel like the work I do here is meaningful. With growing responsibilities come learning opportunities, so I never really feel stagnant. I never felt like "just a number" here. I'm responsible for billing projects that fall under subsidiaries in Europe, so it's quite a lot of work for one person, but I get a truly rewarding feeling once it's all done and honestly can't wait for the next month's round. Work life balance is good, never had issues taking time off and have never been bothered during my time off. I also appreciate Veristat's approach to remote work. No pressure for being on cameras, no senseless meetings, meetings are straight to the point and always business related - I appreciate this, as some other companies tend to waste time where it's unnecessary. I work closely with experienced professionals, learning from them and working with them is invaluable.
Cons
As with probably most companies currently, there were layoffs. People who I worked with closely are leaving or already left, and it's sad. The morale however never changed, our leadership is clear in their comms and I can tell that everyone is still motivated to pull forward.
