Pay Sucks - Less than National Average
Pros
- Love the people on the team I work with. - PTO is great - Works with people needing flexible schedules, shift changes, makeup hours.
Cons
- Pay is terrible. Been here over 10 years and I'm getting paid a couole dollars more than the starting base that is listed on glassdoor. - Upper Management could care less about employees. - Instead of adjusting pay based on cost of living in their state, we were told to move somewhere where its cheaper. Why should we move away from family just to be able to live and survive. - No CEO. Just a team of people they think should run the company. - Constant layoffs multiple times a year. But then told that no more will happen. Had one in March. They tell us no more should be happening. But there will probably be another one in Sept. - They avoid the topic of pay raises/cost of living wage increase. - Ignore a lot of questions that get submitted for town halls that they claim are grouped in with another question. I've asked questions before that we're not grouped or related to any other questions asked and they were not brought up in the town hall. - They want more work from employees than what we get paid fo4. Some departments have required hours of overtime that they have to work. During weeks that there is a holiday, they dont get paid the OT pay until the 8 hours of holiday pay is worked. So you work 8 hours of OT. But get paid the regular hourly wage. And this OT is mandatory in those departments. - Other departments dont have any OT offered to them so no chance of making extra money to help. - Layoffs have mostly been legacy Verisys employees vs legacy Aperture.
