Terrible senior management, high turn over and you work like crazy for no recognition at All

Pros

Team members are great but with such a high turn around everyone is pretty much brand new Flexible hours- you can get in anytime until 9:30 and nobody says anything which is nice. Work from home ability Close to train station Casual work environment

Cons

No review process- don't expect to get a raise Terrible senior management who fail to appreciate hard work of everyone here Very long hours! No work- life balance Benefits are terrible - your vacation time is accrued so whatever you collect that's what you get. No sick time- when you're sick you're expected to work from home. No personal time off either. High expectations for little in return

Pros

There was a lot of opportunity to learn new things at Veritas. There was always a shortage of people, and plenty of work to do, so if you wanted to help out with something different, people welcomed you to explore tasks outside of your normal job description.

Cons

The work/life balance here is not good, most people are given an iPhone on day one and are expected to be on call 24/7 (including vacations). Benefits were absolutely horrible as well, you were nearly better off getting private insurance.

Pros

Most of the employees are a pleasure to work with, fast paced is always a plus(makes the days go by quick), Close to Metra so commuting is always easy.

Cons

Despite what everyone else says about the long hours and burning out employees, this is printing and its like this at most busy companies. You are warned upfront about the hours while in the hiring process. They don't lie about it. Employees wouldn't get burned out if they would spend more time focusing on their work instead of worrying about their personal business.
