      Pros

      nice environment, great industry, allowed me to utilize my inside sales skills and knowledge of the industry. Customers were incredible.

      Cons

      after Xpedx and Unisource merged, started to feel like a number rather than an valued asset. private to a public company changed many things.

      Pros

      As with any company of this size, there are certainly some good, talented people.

      Cons

      The company is simply not progressive (comp, benefits, flex models, etc) and as such isn't an exciting place for young talent or many people with families. Post merger, there's been an effort to ground the new company in a set of values; however, leadership does not live and breathe those values. I bore witness to activities and behaviors by leaders that were morally, ethically and legally questionable. As a result, it's not a culture or environment that will appeal to the masses.

      Pros

      Strong, stable company broad based in distribution services, B2B, packaging & equipment. Strong commission program and based in every major market. 2 year spin off from International Paper.

      Cons

      Don't know there customers in printing & packaging. Think they want to be top distributor in the US but don't really care about what product or market segment. Lack solid customer knowledge to build a platform on.
