Archaic and very much in the dark ages. Regional Management in the Northeast is outdated and out of touch with sales knowledge.

Pros

Pros would be relaxed, very casual dress, lots of birthday cakes and some team building events. Depends on your team though. There are some great people working there, some leaders who have a really great skill set you can learn from.

Cons

Very old fashioned. Accounting system is very dated. Some departments are better than others with overtime but some work overtime just waiting for a supervisor or manager to sign off on a journal entry or something. They sell paper, so they print EVERYTHING. It killed me to see 20 reams of paper on a printer of sales records or something that will probably never be looked at again, printed on one side of course.

Pros

Definitely the best culture I have worked within. The people are helpful, respectful and ethical. Great opportunity for growth. Good work/life balance and compensation. Most employees have been with the company for many years-low turnover.

Cons

Requires patience over the next 18-24 months as systems, sales tools, logistics, etc. integrate as a result of this large merger.
