Pros

Small management team. Healthy work/life balance. Good base pay. Labour force can run the operation with very little direction.

Cons

Unionized colleagues have a poor attitude to a lot of things, including management. Experienced colleagues (20 plus yrs with company) have a very stubborn attitude about learning new things or trying something different. Very little education has been given to the labour force about a lot of things outside of their immediate departments they work in, but this can be both a con and pro as it creates an opportunity for a good management team to steer them down the right path. I wasn't there for very long due to moving, but I got to see and experience certain things that needed changing.

Large product lines and knowledgeable workforce.the utilization of the two separate entities could prove to be a "Walmart" of paper,packaging and facility supplies.appealing to a broad customer base.

Cons

A lack of focused leadership. Reduction of employee salary and benefit packages are going to create a "revolving door" for inexperienced, underperforming talent rbase. The name of the company alone creates confusion with customers as to product lines.

A paycheck in a market that has not recovered from the hit the printing industry took in 2008 / 2009.

Cons

Like others have said, lost touch of taking care of print customer's needs. Have a take it or leave it mentality both with customer's and employees who are left to fix all the mistakes make by corporate and manager's who don't care. Supervisors to busy looking at phone time numbers and problems created buy poor and old outdated system's, and not wanting to take the real problems back up the chain.
