Pros

Most relationships with co-workers and customers were healthy. Good work/life balance. Pretty good pay compared to market.

Cons

Sr Management only cares about the stock price. After outsourcing Customer Service to another country several years ago (when it was MCI) and laying off HUNDREDS of US employees the Call Center on foreign soil failed miserably and the jobs were brought back to the US. Now tens of thousands of other jobs are about to be outsourced to an overseas company. The lay-offs alone will cost hundreds of millions of dollars. This effort will undoubtedly fail as well or at least the productivity will suffer (if not languish).

Pros

Great support from management, incredible benefits, hard work is rewarded, annual bonuses, discounted cell phone plan, working for the best wireless provider

Cons

I personally loved the company but did not do well in a call center environment; call are back-to-back, goals were difficult to achieve, I feel that quality can be compromised by having such hard to attain goals
