Pros

Great benefits, decent pay, MOST upper management staff members are helpful

Cons

VERY STRESSFUL!!! Company doesn’t give employees enough tools to help customers, Schedules suck, understaffed so there are always thousands of calls waiting. Unrealistic metrics, Angry customers because of hold time, Most of the call center employees work morning or mid day shifts so night shift workers gets SLAMMED with calls all night.

Pros

Great benefits and pay isn’t bad either. The yearly tuition assistance is a nice perk for those pursuing a degree. There is also discounts off of various things as a Vzw employee and great EAP benefits as well.

Cons

Very stressful job. Many employees stay solely due to benefits but there is little to no satisfaction from your job. Very high demands with metrics and unreasonable expectations to appease customers and meet company objectives. Customer service bares the brunt of customers frustration and anger which leads to major burn out over time with constant negativity and verbal abuse.

Pros

The only Pros for this company is their benefits, full medical, dental, vision, matching 401K and tuition reimbursement of $8,000 per yr, I have yet to see any other company match this amount most will do tops $5000.

Cons

Worked here 12 yrs too long, management is GARBAGE...I cannot stress this enough, they hire for supervisors within inside the company, that don't have the education required and skills. There is a lot of favoritism within management. HR department lacks organization and better communication and social skills. People pretend to be professionals, but it's a toxic environment, no growth opportunities unless you have connections again the whole favoritism. It is a tough job, it drains mentally and you're exhausted after 8 hrs of being on the phones, managers will avoid you like the plague if they see you coming for help, and they're never on the same page with answers to the many changes the company goes through therefore leaving you clueless to the customer and then you have to take the hit when you get a detractor survey.
