Dishonest recruiting, broken onboarding and confusing/slapped together training, no actual development from leadership, inexperienced and abusive managers that have no business being in their roles (besides going to high school together), sneaky tactics and ROE that only apply to certain people, no communication, dishonest behavior..

I’ve never seen a C-level truly so ignorant to the fact org wide 10% of fully ramped reps only hit quota. You are truly only a # there and nothing else from SVP down. Recruiters will hype it up and say you can make $500k but in reality no one makes $100k. The territories are the absolute worst I’ve ever heard or seen, as each state has about 6-12 reps… the WORST part of verkada and they do not have territorial quotas so good luck as everyone has the same #. Every territory has been split 20 times now and each end user called/ harassed by the AAE team already. All top performers move on and if you make more than 6 months in seat somehow you’ll see. VERY FEW managers that are promoted actual deserve it, and I’ve seen multiple people who are terrible leaders/ sales people. Again they draw a good territory and then get lucky enough to coast with out making one single cold call. The Austin office was comical on how they hired their managers in 2022-23. People who were true leaders and great sales people were denied simply bc they had no opportunity in their territory. I believe all of the original Austin reps are long gone and even the SVP. C-Level needs to open their eyes that employees are not cattle and you need to listen to them. The quotas are $550k per quarter and again only 10% of fully ramped reps hit. The recruiters are the absolute worst and promise the world and that everyone is crushing quota when in reality it’s the furthest from it. I’m reading these 5 star reviews in complete shock below me and NO ONE is happy there. Office attainment they will say is 80% but they dropped the office’s # without dropping individual quotas so they don’t have to pay reps. The stock in now an absolute joke now as well, as they only give RSU’s. Before 2022 they gave true stock and then we had a 3-1 stock split and took that away. RSU are way less guaranteed if they “fire” you or anything like that, and the shares are worth 1/5th they say they are. Look at similar competitors stock who have way better sales/ revenue. You will also be in office EVERY day which is rough bc you have zero work/ life balance. I feel silly I even gave this organization 2 years of my time after doing a quick google of verkada.. you’ll see that current employees were recording girls with verkada cameras/ had a slack about it, none were fired and 3 promoted.. the hack was also completely pure ignorance, and the Bloomberg article is the most true writing I’ve ever read. Overall if I can save one poor soul from getting lied to about working here I’ve done my job.
