Let me just preface this with I never missed my sales goal, but had to leave because better pay and the the environment wasn't for me (and isn't for most people).
- TOXIC work environment. It's crazy that they don't have endless lawsuits.
- They serve alcohol 24/7 (especially EOQs). It's a zoo for sales people. Imagine Wolf of Wall Street but in real life lol
- Their sales tactics are worse than car salesmen. They'll end up giving 70% discounts at EOQs just to pump up numbers - which takes more off your commission and total revenue
- There's probably 1 or 2 good, ethical sales managers. One sales manager got caught up bribing his client. A few of their corp and SLED clients want you to bribe them so they can have a peice of your commission.
Again, this place is only for kids out of college and people that used to sell Verkada as an IT partner. If you're not that, don't waste your time - plently of 'actual' tech jobs in the bay.
