Pros

The engineering culture here is amazing. I've previously been with some very mission driven companies where it always felt like 1-team-1-fight but Verkada is truly a group of people working to make people feel safer! Teammates here are smart, driven, caring and a ton of fun. We work fast to meet our goals. Truly a world class team. The founders are very receptive to feedback and want to continue to make Verkada a place everyone is proud to work at.

Cons

The company gets some bad press for things that do not feel representative of our culture today.

Best Engineering Job I've Ever Had (and I worked at Google)

Pros

- Talented, diverse, friendly coworkers: some of the smartest engineers I've been around, from all over the world and every walk of life, and no egos. - Great tech: we are disrupting the physical security space by bringing modern tech to an old (and huge) industry. - Great management team: All co-founders are technical, very transparent and accessible, very disciplined and fact-based in how they make decisions and execute. - Very solid business model: People need to secure their assets and people and that will never change. This is a business Warren Buffet would have no problem investing in, because it's as easy to understand as Coca-Cola.

Cons

- Typical hypergrowth pains (some processes not fully baked yet). Examples would be performance review cycle could be more structured, and some things could be better documented.

Pros

Very attainable 400k+ W2. Growing fast with a lot of opportunity to move up the ranks. Good people, good product, good money!

Cons

I can come up with a couple but then it would contradict why I am or anyone is pursuing a career in sales.
