Pros

Paid Monday - Friday 1 month training Easy to pick up shifts or stay late for OT Small bump in pay for graveyard shift

Cons

Performance determined who was able to pick their shift (day/night) which wasn't always fair for those already assigned to graveyard shift and getting less tickets/call worked.

Pros

Generally cares about its employees. Modern culture. Decent pay.

Cons

Tends to promote based on past loyalties (when they were a smaller company) and based on cliques within different management sectors. As a result, a decent percentage of lower VP and Sr. Director level folks do not have either broad experience at other companies or many years at Viasat, and therefore are in over their heads. Over time you can see the negative affect this has on the company as a whole.
