Pros

Was a good job to start off in after highschool, stayed for 2 years working through the summers and school year while in University. The Eaton Centre location is at the heart of downtown making it pretty busy. I enjoyed the team and staff of people I worked with when I first started.

Cons

There was a lot of pressure to ensure you were meeting sales figures per hour and for the day. This was stressful at times when I was working on specific tasks like on cash or replenishment, and was still expected to sell as much as the front sales team. Selling/ sharing promotions/ connecting with customers felt forced at times, but is what the managers wanted us to do. By the end, the staff and managers wasn't a great place to be in, there was comparison with who brought in the most sales and very competitive

Pros

At this location I was lucky to have great training since the store had just opened.

Cons

However those who joined later on were thrown onto the floor. If you did not generate high sales you were not going to get a lot of hours.
