Pros

Management recognizes good work with praise as well as with more hours on the schedule and opportunities to move up. Perks are nice, discount was 30% off regular-priced items, and every time a new product was released, whether it was a new bra or new beauty product, employees received it for free. Only worked there a few months and I received several free bras and free VS lotions and body washes. Employees also eligible to receive discounts at Bath and Body Works.

Cons

Lots of pressure to meet sales goals for merchandise and credit cards. As with most retail jobs, hours aren't easy, especially since the store is frequently rearranged in its entirety, which involves a number of employees working extremely early or late shifts (while the shopping center is closed) every few weeks.

Pros

I love all the product and its always changing. You get the opportunity to help so many customers which is great if you are a people person. You get feedback daily as an associate.

Cons

Work is exhausting and managers can never succeed enough. If you do well in one area, you fail somewhere else. You have to make a conversion and credit goal. Associates are paid minimum wage and dont want to do the work, as a supervisor you have to motivate them, but you cant do anything about insubordinance because "they only make minimum wage". Managers hold grudges at the slightest notion.

Pros

You receive bras for either free or cheap (around 15 dollars) at certain times throughout the year which is pretty nice.

Cons

They are completely focused on their credit card sales. You lose shifts if you don't sell the cards (even in this down economy when no one wants any cards).
