Pros

The other employees were really helpful and friendly, it was a great place to work with great discounts and incentives, and although it was part time it was fast pace, challenging, and the time flew by while doing the work. The atmospher was fun

Cons

One of the only down sides that I found working at Victoria's Secret was the rotation of management between the times that I worked seasonally

Pros

-Bright Job Environment. -Gratis on bra's & beauty product was given. -Product is fun & girly. -Always something to do. -30% off on product. -Pep Rally's are a fun when new product is being brought out. -Management is flexible with sick (or call out) days. -Asking for time off wasn't too bad. They usually let you know right then if they could give you certain days off or not. -Feed back is awesome & they are sensitive to you if you are new to the store.

Cons

-Thee biggest downside of working at Victoria's Secret Stores, is the fact that the management (at least at my store in washington) would give you hours based on how many credit attempts you made, instead of how well you were personally doing in sales & customer experience. -As typical with most retail people can be rude & pushy, asking you to cater to their every need. -People often treat it as a dating service during store hours & even as a 1-900 # after store hours. - If you say your available 24 hrs, they will use you for literally 24 hrs. I've had shifts from 7:30 to 1:00-3:00 am because of the constant re-arranging of store signage & product. -On calls (which will be used at every store locations) are the hardest part of maintaining a personally life seperate from the store's needs. - Sizes do not go above a 40-DD. It is personally hard to tell a plus size women that we don't have her size, but carry an abundant amount of 28-AA. Makes customer satisfaction & experience so much harder. - It is a nessesity to learn every single product in the store (which is hard to do since they are so often changing & re-doing product) If you don't you know all of the product you won't have any success with Victoria's Secret stores.

Pros

There are perks. You will get a good discount and sometimes you get free or deeply discounted products to try, like $10 bras or free lotions.

Cons

It is hard work. Straightening everything is a pain and everything has to be perfect before anyone can leave for the day. It is long hours on your feet and they do not always remember to give you a break. You have to remind someone if you want to take one. The pay is very low, minimum wage or just over.
