Pros

Seeing the new clothes and fragrances. If you like fashion, then this can be the place for you. But look at other places first.

Cons

The toxic work environment was not good for my mental health. No true team camaraderie, very much eat or be eaten.

Pros

You get discounts (30%-40%) with additional gratis items that you can get each month, usually after a $5-$10 buy in. You’re encouraged to wear cute and stylish clothing and to show off the merchandise (example: bodysuit tucked into pants with a blazer) but you can dress business casual as well.

Cons

Employers do not respect your time. There is no communication between managers. Your schedule will change day to day without notice and you will receive penalties for being late even though they didn’t communicate any schedule changes. They’ll work you super hard with promises of promotions that will likely never come. Opportunities to advance are not shared openly. You have to inquire about anything you want to know. It always felt like management was keeping secrets from staff. Actually, this would make sense if that was the case considering how horrible the PR is for the company. Get ready for customers to ask you questions about your advertisements that are either inappropriate or over your head. You will get s*xually harassed by teenagers AND grown adults due to the job you have, and you’ll have to routinely deter people from stealing.

Pros

Pay and benefits, including merchandise discount, were very nice. Good looking offices with affordable and varied cafeteria offerings. Depending on your job functions, you may have the opportunity to travel. Opportunities and programs to learn and increase skillsets within the company were easy to access. Company often treats employees to seasonal occasions that are well decorated, well catered and occasionally give away freebees.

Cons

The instability of this company's future is currently causing turmoil within the work environment. The prospects of anyone's job remaining creates a climate of fear of eliminations as the company has undergone several rounds of layoffs within the last few years. As a result, reorganizations occur often and without notice, leaving many vulnerable to working with new teams and individuals. This can cause tension with competing outlooks and preferences, particularly from those with leadership roles. Be cautioned: This company is currently at an unstable juncture.
