Great if you need a few hours of work

Pros

Flexibility of working from home, and set my own schedule. Support and open communication with immediate supervisor/lead.

Cons

Less and less communication with upper management. Pay cut via less company-wide meetings, projects, paid time-off (no more mental health days). Full-time employees went from salaried to hourly. Less appreciation for employees and obvious target of making more money. Not enough work (clients) recently that leads to very little working hours.

Pros

Great support among the therapy team and open to hearing therapist feedback/input. Flexibility in a part-time role.

Cons

Venture-backed company that has faced lots of ups and downs, inconsistencies, and changes recently. There was a large lay-off of mental health therapists with very short notice, and transition of full-time employees to part-time with little notice/choice. This has affected morale and as a part-time employee I'm no longer able to receive the caseload I need to meet my income requirements. There's a clear disconnect between leadership priorities and needs of therapy clients/providers.

Excellent leadership on the therapy team, great coworkers, motivated members.

Cons

Unexpected change in employment structure, making every provider hourly vs salaried. Lack of transparency from senior leadership. Hourly wage is not competitive.
